Description

I dont know the manufacturer. I can only date it based on the imagery, style and theme of the game.brbr The USAF jet fighter is an F111A. It was used in the Vietnam War for a short time in 1968, pulled out after technical problems, then was back again in 1972 with over 4000 mission runs. brbr The tank, which looks like an M48 Patton, has yellow stars on it. This indicates a North Vietnamese Army tank.brbr The game certainly fits in with the 196872 period. brbr The game operation is simple, the way I like them. Once dropped in the slot, the coin is held in place by a metal pin. Depressing the lefthand button releases the coin, and away she rolls along the top ramp. The coin then drops to the second ramp. The USAF F111A is attached to a wooden bomb drop piece which sits within a recess along the ramp. This piece of wood has a slit for the coin to drop through. The slit is revealed when you depress the righthand button to move the wood out of the recess, the jet moving with it. The rolling coin then drops through the slit, and the bomb is deployed, hopefully into the enemy tank. brbr There are wires within the tank forming part of a simple circuit with a relay, powered by four D batteries. Once the coin has landed in the tank it completes the circuit, causing the light to switch on until the coin is released out the bottom coin shute.
