Game Introduction

This PCB seems to be a bootleg of the NES by Nintendo. It lets you choose one of 21 different games. After inserting a coin you can choose a game with the first and third button; the first button adds a digit while the third decreases one. This is similar to Hyper Olympic name entry.

Conversion

This is probably the same as the Multi Game 35 board. Both PCBs look identical at first glance.

Miscellaneous

I still believe this a hack since you cannot perform two-player games in the Super Mario 3 game. Every game has certain visible options deactivated such as the difficulty setting. And still there are differences with the VS game. For example, Super Mario 3 is identical to the NES version, but there is no two-player mode selectable.

VAPS Arcade/Coin-Op Multigame 21 Census

There are 15,165 members of the Video Arcade Preservation Society / Vintage Arcade Preservation Society, 9,628 whom participate in our arcade census project of games owned, wanted, or for sale. Census data currently includes 166,322 machines (6,975 unique titles).

Rare - There are 2 known instances of this machine owned by Multigame 21 collectors who are active members. Of these, 2 of them are only circuit boards which a collector could put into a generic case if desired.

Wanted - No active members have added this machine to their wish list.

This game ranks a 1 on a scale out of 100 (100 = most often seen, 1=least common) in popularity based on census ownership records.

Rarity and Popularity independently are not necessarily indications of value. [More Information]

Fixes

The colours are very hard to adjust. On the board there are two wheels used to adjust the colours and brightness.
