Cidercade - Dallas | Dallas, Texas, United States | 4/5 | Fun place with lots of games. They don't seem to have many of the old games I enjoy, but they have several of the classics, and they rotate games in and out. Pinball section has generally been mediocre, with maybe one or two big names, but no older classics. I have been there and had a large number of the games out of repair. Maybe just a bad day, but they were out of most of the ciders too that day. Was pretty cool to go get some food and sit down and eat lunch with my kid in the arcade though. Overall a pretty nice place if you are in the area. Remember to bring your own food, but there is usually a food truck out front as well. |
Free Play Arlington | Arlington, Texas, United States | 5/5 | This place had a great selection of the older games I was looking for, though they do move games around between locations. Food was decent. The pinball selection was top notch, though they were having a tournament, so it was pretty packed the last time I was there. This is my favorite arcade I've been to so far in the DFW area, though a ton have popped up now. |
