The player chooses one of four different futuristic motorcycles and riders, each with it's own unique set of statistics rated on a scale of 1 to 5. After the racer is chosen, you then select either "Practice Mode" (Up to 5 laps raced for the best time, similar to "TT mode" in Manx TT), or "Championship" mode where you race on three different worlds and tracks. You must place either first, second or third to continue to the next race. Placing fourth through tenth ends the game.
After choosing your racer, either the mysterious "1.0," Robin, Gunz or Geila, you race a number of laps to win. Each racer is equipped with a futuristic "retro" hand weapon ranging from axes and spears to swords and maces that he or she uses to knock the other riders from their bikes. Each bike also has a "Turbo" gauge that allows you a limited time turbo charge that will also do "critical" damage and disarm your opponents. While the opposition can be disarmed, the human (and computerized) opponents can also attack and knock you from your bike as well, costing you valuable position and time, as well as the loss of your helmet and weapon. After loosing your weapon in a race, you can regain one by "punching" an armed opponent and knocking them from their motorcycle.

After losing your weapon in a race, you can regain one by "punching" an armed opponent, knocking them from their motorcycle and stealing their weapon. You can also increase your score significantly by attacking. A racer who only drives fast and places high (first place for example) may not outscore an opponnent who is more combative but places lower (second or third place). To succeed you need a good balance of racing and combat skills.
Many of the Manx TT Superbike Twin cabinets that did not sell were converted at the factory into Motor Raid units. In some instances Motor Raid graphics were just placed over the top of existing graphics on certain parts of the cabinet and may be revealed if the Motor Raid graphics are damaged.
This game is available in single "DX" version with a larger monitor, and a "twin" linked version. This is the exact same cabinet used for Manx TT Superbike Twin, which was released two years earlier. Up to 4 "twin" cabinets may be linked togeather. The "DX" and "twin" cabinets can not be linked.

The twin version uses a fiber optic cable to link cabinets.
Occassionally there's a problem where the left side motorcycle will not steer. This can be adjusted in the software settings to recalibrate the bike.
