Game Introduction

In this game, you control one of two soldiers, Marco Rossi and Tarma Roving. Your mission is to defeat the evil General Morden and his powerful army. The last level makes you defeat a giant soldier.

Game Play

You have to defeat the General's evil army. After you rescue a hostage, they either give you a bonus item or one of the great guns: Heavy Machine Gun, Flame Shot, Rocket Launcher, and the Shotgun. After you complete the last ending, there is a movie-like ending.

Cheats, Tricks, Bugs, and Easter Eggs

Level 1 Rescue some POWs behind the waterfalls. Level 2 Shoot the parachuting bazooka men with the Flame Shot.



It is unbelievable how much graphic detail and funny slapstick animation the programmers of Nazca packed into this game.

Cabinet Information

This game is housed in a NeoGeo MVS cabinet. The monitor bezel can contain a sticker describing the guns and bonus items. Mainly, a title card appears in a NeoGeo MVS marquee. The title card has the IMetal SlugI tank with a picture of a sneering Marco Rossi, one of the two player characters. The words METAL SLUG Blast away and go, go, go appear across it.


This game can be converted to any other NeoGeo MVS game.
