Description

A classic maze style game single screen, non-scrolling. The player navigates a pumpkin patch, chased by a variety of monsters. Draw trails with a marker which, when attached to a pumpkin, launches the pumpkin, destroying everthing in its path.

Punky Doodle was produced by Sunsoft in 1993.

Game Play

The player navigates a pumpkin maze while being chased by a variety of evil creatures. Using a drawn trail, the player can launch pumpkins that destroy all the creatures along the path.

Rounds take place on a single screen with no scrolling. The game's difficulty increases with different pumpkin layouts containing a variety of mutant monsters.

Cabinet Information

The prototype has a unique black upright design. The wooden sides are two inches thick and have rounded edges.

Miscellaneous

This game was never completed or released, but a playable prototype was displayed at a arcade coin-op tradeshow in San Antonio Texas, in 1994 or 1995. About twenty of the unique custom cabinets were built.
