Two dolls, Pino and Acha, have gone into the castle of the wizard Majyo, who has kidnapped their friend.
Player one is Pino (the male doll) while player two is Acha (the female doll). The object in each room is to free the hearts scattered throughout the room so that the door opens and allows you entry to the next. Along the way, you need to get around the myriad of toys that Majyo has sent to stop you, including toy soldiers, wind-up cars, balloons, and so on. Fight back with the weapons that you uncover.
Scattered throughout the rooms are gift boxes that can be broken open with your shots. One shot opens the top and reveals their contents, but be careful! Some of the boxes contain punch traps that can stun you or time bombs that will blow you up if you do not get away! If the box contains an item, shoot it again to destroy the box and make it available.
Certain weapons are most effective against certain toys. While any weapon can take out toy soldiers (the pellet can only take out soldiers), cars may need to be destroyed with wheels, balloons with pins, and so on. The game will indicate which type of enemy is vulnerable to the weapon you currently possess.
For a challenge, try to destroy all the enemies in a room before clearing it out. You get a bonus if you can accomplish the task.
Once you open the exit, though, hurry through. The room will begin to close in around you if you wait.
Finally, every so often, a wizard comes along that is not vulnerable to your average shots. To destroy the wizard, you need to uncover one of the super weapons by collecting three special icons (there are two sets) that can be scattered around the rooms. One of the weapons is a star shot that can destroy any toy. The other is a tornado attack.
If hit by an enemy, you lose your outer clothes and are reduced to underclothes. If you get hit again, you lose a life, but you can look around for a new set of clothes.
