These machines are sometimes mistakenly thought to be made by Goo Goo Gum because of the stencils on the sides or by Mills Novelty Co. because some of them also have a Mills stencil on the back. Actually these were made by Freeport Novelty Co. of Freeport, Ill. and then were distributed by Mills.
