Description

According to Mills Novelty Co., because of the future-pay and gum-vending features, this machine was "pronounced absolutely legal by the best authorities." However, it cost an extra nickel to collect one's winnings, and the serious chewer had to move fast to remove his gum before the cabinet swallowed it back. The player also learns his fortune by checking his combination against those listed on the front. The cast-iron and oak comprising the machine's exterior are beautifully harmonious. 1912.
