The Mills Novelty Co. 20th Century came in two versions - one with 8 slots that take nickels quarters and trade checks, and the other with five slots that take only half dollars or dollar coins. Some of these were made with music and some without. A Mills catalogue describes the finish: Hand carved antique oak cabinet, high piano polish: nickel or oxidized trimmings.
