A pinball machine and a video game combined together; two games in one.
For the video part of the game, the joystick moves the caveman around the maze. The character must eat five pterodactyls, brontosauruses and triceratopses, but each of the dinosaurs metamorphically change from one species to another. After one of the dinosaurs has been consumed, all the others will turn into deadly tyrannosaurus rexes that are capable of devouring the caveman. Once the caveman has eaten all five of each of the three edible dinosaurs, more will appear on the screen with increased point values. The player will return to the pinball portion of the game after the caveman exits through one of the doorways on the screen. If the caveman is eaten by the T-Rex, the player is returned to the pinball playfield, but loses the ball.

The cabinet of the game looks much more like a pinball machine rather than a traditional video game. The monitor is nestled into the playfield underneath the cabinet glass.
