It hangs on the wall and seems like it should have control boxes for two players. Each player holds a button until the swing looks right and then releases.
This is different from the one I see in the listings. This hangs on the wall and the one listed looks like it sits on a table or on the floor. The display is different also.
These games are electromechanical, using solenoids and relays instead of transistors and ICs. Golf Champ was offered two ways, as either a wall mounted unit or a pedestal-mounted unit. The wall-mounted units had a separate coin box, and the pedestal-mounted units incorporated a built in coin box in the pedestal base. Apparently there was also a choice in remotes. The game could be purchased with either hard-wired or RF remotes.
