Visiting the International Arcade Museum®, Arcadia™, Penny Arcadia™,
and The International Arcade Museum Library™

Planning a Visit:

In Short:

The International Arcade Museum, Arcadia, and The International Arcade Museum Library are generally open Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (PST).
Advance reservations are required.

The Details:

In addition to our extensive online web sites, there are additional offerings to see in person:

  1. Penny Arcadia's special exhibitions and exhibits in various locations.
  2. Arcadia's permanant exhibits in Pasadena, California (limited in scope until we find a new facility)
  3. The International Arcade Museum Library.

Arcadia's classic machine exhibitions are announced on the Penny Arcadia page, occur in a variety of locations, and are highly recommended. Additionally, a several room Arcadia exhibit of select museum holdings is available on an ongoing basis in Pasadena, California while we look for new facilities. Full access to our current facilities is limited to qualified individuals as described below, as not all of our current facilities are perfectly suited for visits by the general public.

The International Arcade Museum Library is fully open, and not restricted by our search for new facilities. See the International Arcade Museum Library page for more information.

The Penny Arcadia exhibit, the International Arcade Museum, and the International Arcade Museum Library's hours of operation are generally Monday thru Friday, 9am to 5pm PST. NO WALK-IN VISITORS WILL BE ALLOWED ENTRANCE WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. Appointments can be made in one or two hour blocks, and are available at no charge. Appointments are required and generally must be made at least two weeks in advance. This allows us time to schedule a researcher to assist you, and time to pull any relevant library materials you might be interested in as some of it is located in offsite storage. Visitors should be prepared to show valid photo ID upon arrival.

For more information, please feel free to contact us directly. Our current contact information at the bottom of our About Us page.
