Game IntroductionReasonable vertical scrolling shoot-em-up, pilot your tank up the screen destroying the enemy on the ground, in the air or popping up from under the sea. You can turn and fire in any direction. The bomb is similar to Xevious where a target ahead of the ship shows where the bomb will explode. There are a variety of different landscapes including a maze section you must navigate. The enemies also have an insect-like look about them. Music is a little cheesy and graphics are fairly small, but effective. Good for it's age and insanely hard. Does not have a flip feature for the video (very inconvenient).VAPS Arcade/Coin-Op Regulus CensusThere are 12,084 members of the Video Arcade Preservation Society / Vintage Arcade Preservation Society, 9,585 whom participate in our arcade census project of games owned, wanted, or for sale. Census data currently includes 162,631 machines (6,830 unique titles).Scarce - There are approximately 5 known instances of this machine presumably owned by our current and past members. More are likely owned by non-members. 2 of these machines are owned by our active Regulus collectors. And of these, 2 are only circuit boards which a collector could put into a generic case if desired. Wanted - No active members have added this machine to their wish list. This game ranks a 1 on a scale out of 100 (100 = most often seen, 1=least common) in popularity based on census ownership records.
