Game IntroductionA Kung Fu Master, Thomas, and Sylvia, his girlfriend, were walking and they were suddenly attacked by several unknown guys. While Thomas was distracted, Sylvia was kidnapped by them. Thomas later found a note from Mr. X, an inhabitant from the Devil's Temple. The note reads:Your love Sylvia is in custody right now. If you want to save your dear Sylvia's life, come to the Devil's Temple at once. The 5 Sons of the Devil will entertain you. Game PlayThe character that you control is called Thomas, the Kung-Fu master. There are five floors in the palace. On each floor elite fighters will continuously attack you from both sides and knife throwers will throw knives either overhand or underhand. On the second floor and up, there are midget fighters who will try to jump on Thomas. At the beginning of the second floor, there are different objects that fall from the ceiling including clay pots with snakes, magic balls that make fire-breathing dragons temporarily appear and confetti balls that suddenly explode into deadly seperate pieces. At the beginning of the fourth floor, there are deadly killer moths that flutter about. At the end of each floor, there is a different boss enemy that guards the stairway leading to the next floor. These enemies are as follows: first floor, stick fighter second floor, boomerang thrower third floor, giant fourth floor, wizard and fifth floor, Mr. X, the gang leader. Thomas must get to the end of each floor and proceed to the next without running out of time or stamina. Thomas must kick or punch every elite fighter and midget fighter that approaches him. If the elite fighters or midget fighters gang up on Thomas, you can jiggle the joystick back and forth to shake them off. If a midget fighter tries to jump onto Thomas's head, push the joystick up to make Thomas jump to knock them off. Thomas must kick or punch each knife thrower twice to defeat them. To avoid the knives, push the joystick up to make Thomas jump or pull the joystick down to make Thomas duck. Thomas can also kick or punch while jumping or ducking. Thomas must kick or punch the snake pots, dragon balls or confetti balls as soon as they drop from the ceiling. If he misses, he will have to jump over the snakes, kick or punch the dragons before they breathe fire or dodge the exploding confetti. Thomas must kick, punch or avoid the killer moths. Everytime Thomas confronts a boss enemy, he must deliver a series of punches and kicks to the vulnerable areas of each boss enemy, but each boss enemy may have a deadly technique to overcome. The stick fighter will try to strike with a stick. The boomerang thrower will throw two deadly boomerangs at a time. The giant can unleash deadly powerful kicks and punches. The wizard can hurl all kinds of deadly magic objects and make himself seemingly invincible. As for the the gang leader, Mr. X, he will block most of Thomas's kicks or punches and attack with his own style of Kung-Fu techniques. Thomas has to kick or punch each boss enemy in the most vulnerable areas until their stamina runs out. Thomas must get to the end of the fifth floor and defeat Mr. X to rescue Sylvia. After Thomas has rescued Sylvia, the game begins again. MiscellaneousLICENSOR: IremThere was also a version released directly by Irem.
