Description

Overhead view of hockey rink. You are a one-man team against two computer controlled opponents and a goalie. Your objective is to score goals and pick up bonus points by shooting the stars along ringside. You choose from three levels of competition in a quest for the trophy.

Technical

The game is comprised of two PCBs. The top board measures 5.5 inches by 11.5 inches and contains a Z80 and a AY-3-8910. The bottom board is 7.5 inches by 11.5 inches and it connects to the top via a 50-wire ribbon cable. The boards were originally manufactured by ORCA but the logo Orca killer whale has been removed but the board markings remain - OVG-51A on the top board and OVG-54C on the bottom.

The EPROMs are 2764s that have been hacked to fit in 24-pin sockets that the board was originally designed for. EPROMs are marked "HR" followed by a number.
