Description

A three-player, Indy style racing game with five cars that each race around 15 of Danny Sullivan's favorite tracks. Players can turbo, crash, catch fire, and lose fuel, but they may pit stop for repair. Danny himself always races (yellow car) and players can earn money for more turbo, faster pit crew, acceleration, brakes, and tires.

Game Introduction

Up to three players can compete in this game. Each player gets to control a specifically colored Indy car: red, white or blue. The yellow Indy car is computer-controlled and is driven by Danny Sullivan. Players may enter their initials and select one of ten different drivers (male and female). The game saves this info so that a player may continue their stats another day.

The game hardware is a later variant of the original Cinemat hardware. There are on-screen adjustments for just about everything. A Z80 powers the game, while a second Z80 is responsible for drawing the sprites. Sound is driven by an 80186 running 3 DACs and a YM2151.
