Technical

Starting with IIDX 9th Style, Konami dropped the dedicated hardware for a Windows XP based system. It was blamed for quirky timing for 9th style, but was tweaked to near perfection and even more stringent timing in the later styles.

Fixes

Sometimes in worst-case scenarios, the DVD or the drive itself that provides the in-game video becomes so worn out or scratched that it needs replacement.
