Game Play

The object of this fun game is to track and sink the moving "enemy" ships. The interior scenery inside the machine is lit up with a blacklight tube making for a very realistic sight. The game also has a "sound unit" that makes makes various noises including a beeping sound to simulate sonar sound. Also a "whoosh" sound is made when the torpedo is fired and heads towards its target. An "explosion" sound is also made when the torpedo hits its target. There are a series of 10 torpedo shaped lights on the playfield (simulated ocean) that make the torpedo look like its moving toward the target ship. Also each hit is recorded by a flashing red light. These features along with the very realistic periscope makes this machine a very exciting and realistic game to play. The machine tracks how many torpedoes have been fired and how much tonnage has been sunk. The machine is currently set up to fire 8 torpedoes per game with extra shots awarded for a score of 160,000.
