Section Z DescriptionA horizontal/vertical-scrolling shoot-em-up. You control a red spaceman with a jetpack and laser gun who flies through tunnels shooting at attacking enemies. Sections are labeled "A" to "Z" with end-of-level level craft appearing at E, J, O, T and Z.Capcom, the Section Z maker, released 208 different machines in our database under this trade name, starting in 1984. Other machines made by Capcom during the time period Section Z was produced include Senjou No Ookami, Makaimura, Commando, Gun Smoke, Exed Exes, 1942, HiGeMaru - Pirate Ship, Son Son, Vulgus, and Red Line Fever (prototypes only). ConversionThe game can be converted to IGhosts n GoblinsI or ITrojanI by simply swapping boards.Game IntroductionFly a jetpacked-spaceman through continuously scrolling tunnels shooting various spacecraft and wall-mounted cannons. The sections are marked "A" to "Z" and there are end-of-level craft to destroy at E, J, O, T and Z.The direction of scrolling changes after defeating each boss. Sections A through E scroll right to left, F through J scroll top to bottom, etc. Game PlayA spaceman faces either left or right shooting a laser gun horizontally and throwing grenades with each press of the fire button. Use the Turn button to face the other direction. When you die you go back to the start of the current section.Destroying certain ground targets release B, S or P symbols that you collect for bonus, speed-up or weapon power-up respectively.
