MagMax Description

A horizontally scrolling right to left shoot-em-up. The game has big bosses at end of levels and play can take place above or below ground. The player ship can be powered-up by collecting robot parts legs, torso, and big gun to turn ship into striding robot.

Nichibutsu, the MagMax maker, released 80 different machines in our database under this trade name, starting in 1979.

Other machines made by Nichibutsu during the time period MagMax was produced include Dangar Ufo Robo, Cop 01, Pastel Gal, Ninja Emaki, Soldier Girl Amazon, Roller Jammer, Tube Panic, Dacholer, Rug Rats, and Nichibutsu Hustler.
