Hard Drivin' Description

This game invites players to test drive a high-powered sports car on a stunt course. Players select either an automatic or manual transmission and turn the ignition key to start the game. By taking different off ramps, players can select the track they prefer.

Cabinet Information

The game was first released in a deluxe cockpit version followed by a compact sitdown that looks more like an upright.

Cheats, Tricks, Bugs, and Easter Eggs

When moving downhill, shift the car into neutral. You will notice that the time will pause giving you more time to finish the lap.

If you make a real hard left turn as soon as time starts, you will drive onto a skidpad.

Operator-selectable features include the time allowed from checkpoint to finish line and bonus driving time for a race well-run. The player's view is from the windshield of the car. Fully animated gauges are on the dash graphics on the 25-inch medium resolution monitor are true multi-sided, three-dimensional objects.

Miscellaneous

The cockpit style uses a Medium-Resolution monitor, while the upright-style uses a Standard-Resolution monitor.
