Speed Up

Description

A racing game where up to eight players compete in a race. After each lap, the slowest car is eliminated and the game continues until only the winner remains. The tracks are very detailed with lots of high resolution scenery, along with the other bells and whistles found in most other high-end racing games.

Speed Up was produced by Gaelco in 1996.

Game Introduction

Each player selects one car from the ten that are available. There are also three different tracks to choose from. The action is fast and furious and the game can vary between one and nine laps, depending upon the number of players.

Cabinet Information

The game has four speakers to give the player an in-your-face experience. The seat can be adjusted by the player to accomodate the smallest to the largest player. The steering wheel and controls are comfortable and positioned in appropriate locations.
