Soul Calibur Description

The second game in the Soul series. The game features an 8-way run system that allows a player character to run in and out of the screen to dodge and attack opponents. There is also a time release system for both characters and extra weapons and arenas in which to fight.

Cheats, Tricks and Bugs

After Time Release is complete, hold the Start button when choosing a character to play as an Unknown Soul. Also at this time, pressing the Guard button on the character select screen will cycle through the availible weapons.

Conversion

This game uses the Namco System 12 board which is identical to Tekken 3.

Game Introduction

A one-on-one 3-D beat-em-up. Power-up by using a soul charge and batter your opponent into submission with various weapons or toss them out of the ring.

Fixes

BUG: Occasional resets do occur when certain situations arise. The screen will become a small dark blue dot then go back to the NAMCO startup screen.
