PlayChoice 10 DescriptionA multi-game system that would allow a user to select a game from a list of up to ten titles. The game software used was originally designed for the Nintendo Entertaiment System (a home gaming system)."Cabinet InformationGeneric Nintendo logo stickers appear on both sides of the cabinet. There are three types of cabinets a counter top, a single monitor type and a dual monitor version. The dual monitor cabinet is a dedicated machine and the single monitor style was a kit converting IPopeyeI, IDonkey KongI, IPacManI, et. al. The main PCBs are different between the single and dual versions.ConversionA Nintendo IPunchOutI cabinet can be converted to a IPlayChoice 10I dual monitor version but a twoplayer wiring harness must be acquired.Game IntroductionUp to ten cartridges can be used on one PCB. Games are timer based, regardless of your performance. These are the different cartridges that were made for the PlayChoice 10:

This game ranks a 73 on a scale out of 100 (100 = most commonly seen, 1=least common) in popularity based on census ownership records. Wanted - There are 10 VAPS members currently looking for PlayChoice 10. There are 2 VAPS members looking for PlayChoice 10 board sets. This game ranks a 32 on a scale out of 100 (100 = most commonly seen, 1=least common) in popularity based on census want list records. TechnicalEven though games for the IPlayChoiceI were basicly the same as the home versions for the NES, the hardware is not compatable.TriviaA dedicated tabletop version was made late in 1988. ISuper Mario Bros. 3I was previewed in the U.S. market via the PlayChoice machine.Legacy
