Do you have the rhythm? Then step up onto the stage and prove it! In this dancing game, move and groove to the music by stepping on the arrows as they scroll up the screen. Do well enough, and you progress to the next stage! This version is a single player edition, which features not only music lifted from the standard dual-player edition of Dance Dance Revolution 4th Mix, but can only be played by one player, and has six arrows instead of just four, which should make the game much more difficult for both novice players and experts alike!

Start by selecting a song (this one taking its songlist from Dance Dance Revolution 4th Mix), then the game begins. As the arrows reach the top of the screen, press the corresponding button(s) with your feet.

The songs range from one foot (simple) (they are rated in feet instead of stars) up to nine, known as 'Catastrophic' songs, increasing in difficulty as far as speed (beats per min.) and are nearly impossible to finish without spending mass amounts of money or investing in any of the import home versions and dance mats!

The cabinet features lights under the buttons that illuminate when pressed, neon flashing lights that flicker in tune to the music, as well as overhead multi-colored lighting to create a dance party feeling.

The standard dual-player version of the game is known as Dancing Stage in Europe/the UK, where the world record for number of hours playing the game nonstop (around eight hours, according to Guinness World Records, 2001) is held.
